Dennis Sparksman has been at the forefront of cartage, transportation and relocation in the northernmost regions of New Zealand for over 30 years – starting his career with Mangonui Haulage Limited as an owner/driver in 1980.
Today Dennis, his son Sean and their team are directing a large national operation comprising of 45 Drivers, 9 Mechanics, 3 Engineers and 7 Administration staff from their headquarters in Mangonui, Northland.
Mangonui Haulage is a multi-faceted business, transporting logs, livestock, readymix concrete and general cartage of fertiliser, metal (aggregate), posts and timber, machinery relocation and drinking water.
Today, the Mangonui Haulage fleet includes 7 Livestock truck-and-trailer vehicles, 32 Logging units, 3 Readymix concrete trucks, 2 tip trucks and a water cartage unit.
A modern and sophisticated cartage operation
Mangonui Haulage stays abreast of technology and uses the Navman Wireless OnlineAVL system – a GPS fleet tracking system that allows us to meet our customer’s needs quickly and efficiently by providing up-to-the-minute fleet information including vehicle location and activity, fuel consumption and the ability to monitor, manage and communicate with our vehicles and provide the best service possible that allows us to dispatch and allocate jobs to the nearest available vehicle, give accurate ETAs and deliver an enhanced customer service.
Offering more than just transport
